A few months ago I decided that I wanted to make a change in my life and one of the areas I need a huge change is my health. I have dealt with many challenges as it pertains to becoming healthier, some of my own and other internally, ( I will share more of these stories in my blog) but recently I was introduced to a product that has helped many to lose 5lbs in 5 days, I've personally lost 6lbs in 10 days, but very excited about that small accomplishment. So within the product line I have seen many success stories and decided to create on of my own. Using the dietary supplements and some will power I have decided to embark on a 30 Day Weight Loss Challenge to jump start my change. Feel free to follow my journey or join me whenever you feel like you are ready for a change.

Quick Weight Loss
Looking for quick weight loss?
Well......
Of course... for those that struggle with weight loss we want it fast especially if you have a special occasion to go to.
Well here is another leg of my journey. I originally created this blog to share my weight loss journey in which I had some success last summer. I lost 26lbs using HCG, you can read about that in prior post.
In October of last year a developed and PE and DVT, a major life threatening issue that brought all weight loss efforts to a hault. I spent 4 months off work and inactive while recovering, in addition to my diet was limited due to the medications I had to take. The blood thinners (Coumadin) little to know intake of Vitamin K rich foods, which is the stuff thats good for you like kale, spinach, and other leafy greens.
I noticed by December I had gained 10 lbs, I planned to do another round of HCG but mentally I was not ready and since I was home from work, I was exploring my love for cooking. I planned again in February, I started and a few days later I got a call that my son had been shot. My world went haywire, the program went out the window with hospital visits that always involved eating during the visits or after with family.
So I took an break and thought, ok your fat but you still have your son... I can live with that. So as life began to mellow out a bit I weighed-in and found I had gained almost all the weight back, not in the same areas but the scale doesn't lie. I promised myself I would't weigh that much again. I knew I mentally was not in a space to use the HCG with my diet so limited and HCG having a limited amount of veggies to choose from that all had Vitamin K, I opted a for a product that my company had introduced last year.
This product curbs appetite, curbs sugar and carb cravings, had a more flexible diet plan than HCG in which I can eat more fruit and 700 - 1200 calories a day and workout. HCG is only 500 firm calories, no working out, no flexibility in food options. The meal plan for this product was simply no carbs, sugars, oils, flour, and chocolate in addition to counting the calories.
Unlike HCG this product contains no hormones, needed no load days, and didn't had a 26-40 day cycle. You can take this product until you reach your goal and use as a maintenance product to help curb appetite as needed.
Well I started on Wednesday. weighed in at 229 (bummer), I weighed in Friday (8 days later) at 220. Very impressive since I only ate cleaner about 4 out 9 days... Sunday is easter and plan to commit to 21 days of clean eating for some good results. I'm averaging 2-4 lbs on clean days and 1-0 on not so clean... Stay tuned. Ready to get started? HCG Protocol... Third Time's a Charm
So I'm on my third cycle of HCG Protocol and wow, I have learned so much from the first two rounds. If you read previous post you see many of the mistakes I made. But I still had results and this round has proven to be the best round so far.
I started in June at 233 and ended a 30 day cycle at 215... in July I started a second cycle at 220 and got down to 209.... didn't really practice maintenance well so I ended up at 215... I started Oct. 11th and now at 206 lbs. My goal is 25lbs and I'm already at 9 so 16 more to go and 18 more days in my cycle.
Average 1-2lbs of weight loss a day I am on track to reach my goals. Learn more at www.tamsteatestimony.com

HCG Load Days
Ok, I'm back and thanks for all those who have supported me on this journey and a journey it is. I have been on 2 cycles of HCG and loss 26lbs. 15 first round and 11 the second round. The average is 20-30lbs per cycle. Having less than average results, I still had results and am please. I made a lot of mistakes and learned a lot making these mistakes.
Round 1 I took way to many drops in the beginning and ran out quickly.... Read more.
Round 2 I didn't really prepare my foods and found myself off program many times and I had to health set backs that had me eating to take the meds so I would plateau a lot.
Life is always full of challenges that could have been my excuse to quit, but I kept going even with my mistakes. Now that I know my dosage and convince myself I must prepare, I am starting my 3rd cycle today. My goal is to lose 20lbs this round. I'm focused and ready to continue in my journey to change. Although HCG protocol offers quick results, thes results are only maintained through the HCG lifestyle changes. The results are worth the change.
So today I load, I am loading for 2 days. Loading simply means creating a high fat reserve so the HCG hormone know where your body is storing fat in the first two days on program. So what are the foods to eat? High carb, fat, and sugar. Crazy huh.... but enjoy... actually it's hard to enjoy, cause my desire to eat those foods have decreased from following this program twice, Even when I crave my usual junk... once I get it, I can't seem to find the satisfaction it once gave and I feel full so quick from being trained to eat smaller meals that I just don't want it and I realize how bad it is for me.
So I consider VHCD Load days your last supper. If you have anything bad your craving or that meal snack you think you can't live without, eat on load days and mentally prepare to follow the program as best you can because the results are so worth it. The sacrifice to eat my fave lays sour cream and onion chips is worth getting on scale to a lb or 2 gone. Now I rarely crave those chips and when I do, I don't buy the family bag and eat in 2 days I buy the small bag and it takes me 2 days to eat.
So stay tuned. I'm on a mission for 20 more lbs. Want to learn more go to www.tamsteatestimony.com

The HCG Diet Works For Me
I have completed a second cycle of HCG program. I have many advise me against it but at the same time they haven't seen me get results with diet and exercise. After turning 40 weight loss became harder and weight gain was inevitable for me. After much thought an research I found several products that work for me.
I originally wanted to address my digestive issues. I found this detox tea that is 100% organic with no caffeine or stimulants. After drinking 2 cups a day for 7 days I had lost 4lbs with no dietary changes. my body was releasing waste and I was experiencing my food actually digest. I continued to drink the tea but then I saw many getting results with HCG of 20-90lbs of weight loss.
Weight 233 at 5'4" my body always had a problem losing weight. I would workout change eating habits some and because I have a muscular structure I would bulk up, and lose a few inches, but would have to fight hard to lose lbs. Yeah many say its' how you fit in your clothes and don't watch the scale, but my goal weight is not to be 5'4" and weighing 200lbs. I was always 145-155 in high school and was size 8.
Having large muscle mass can be deceiving and when I told people I weighed 230 no one believed me because my body always was proportioned. But at this point I wanted a program in which I could lose weight before I started to workout and bulk up. Many will say well why don't you eat clean? It's not in my nature, I love to cook, and honesty I love great food, not fast food but I have a love for fine dining from time to time. So cleaning up my diet is eating more fruits and veggies and reducing my fine dining to once or twice a month.
So upon inquring about HCG I started the program and lost 15 lbs the first round (30 days), below average but better than I was getting doing nothing. I started the second round in August and did about 28 days, loss 11 lbs for a grand total of 22. Had a few setbacks in round 2, ended up on bed rest and taking meds that required me to eat more to protect me stomach. I finished today at 208... It's not easy, but is not as hard as many think. My goal weight around 170 lbs.
The number one thing to remember with HCG is it is mental. You have to mentally prepare for this program and truly be ready to commit. Second, you must prep your foods. Third, if and when you have a bad or days, don't quit. Get back on and correct what wasn't working and move forward. Some weight loss is better than no weight loss.
So what happens after HCG. HCG is a lifestyle, I now enter phase 4, maintenance phase. I can slowly increase my intake to 1200 calories today eating minimal to no carbs and sugars, weighing at least once weekly and as soon as you see yourself gaining 2lbs, cut back and address it immediately through dietary changes.
The biggest thing I've learned is to keep my portion sizes small and it has trained me not to eat large meals.
It works for me, and plan to do another round in October.
