A few months ago I decided that I wanted to make a change in my life and one of the areas I need a huge change is my health. I have dealt with many challenges as it pertains to becoming healthier, some of my own and other internally, ( I will share more of these stories in my blog) but recently I was introduced to a product that has helped many to lose 5lbs in 5 days, I've personally lost 6lbs in 10 days, but very excited about that small accomplishment. So within the product line I have seen many success stories and decided to create on of my own. Using the dietary supplements and some will power I have decided to embark on a 30 Day Weight Loss Challenge to jump start my change. Feel free to follow my journey or join me whenever you feel like you are ready for a change.

My 10 lb before and after.

Good Morning,

I'm 10 days in to my 30 day challenge and today I reached my 10lb weight loss mark. So you are probably saying I thought you loss weight with the tea last month... I did but it was accumulative and because I wasn't on a meal plan I would lose 3 or 4 and gain 2 or 3. I was mainly taking the tea for its health benefit, weight loss was the side effect. After following many of my TLC team members and seeing them have amazing results with the HCG and the Tea I decided to embark on my on 30 day challenge which includes meal plans. I'm actually 7 days into Phase 2, which is when my weight loss began. I decided to take a picture at every 10lbs of this journey and share for my own encouragement and motivation and anyone who is looking for a program to help them reach their goals. Holidays and Dieting

So how do you start a diet regimen the week before a holiday my cousin asks? Well, as someone who loves to cook and enjoy great food, food is often the center piece of many celebrations and accomplishments. So I knew going into this that I wouldn't be void of any holiday or celebrations. I did keep in mind that I had about 8 weeks until I traveled again so I wanted to get the more challenging part of the program down before my travel dates began.

So yesterday our family had their Memorial Day BBQ, in which I am usually responsible for my famous potato salad and other tasty treats I felt like cooking.  Being 3 days into Phase 2 which is the 23 VLCD's (very low calorie day), I had to find a way to attend and not indulge in the manner that I was use to. Boy do I love a good homemade burger, a spicy hot link topped with coleslaw with a side of potato salad and sweet baked beans, load of chips and dip, and cocktails galore finished with peach cobbler, ice cream, and other desserts floating around. Sound like fun huh? I know someone can relate.

Being committed to my the HCG Lifestyle  I opted not to make the potato salad, heck if I couldn't enjoy why torture myself making it, so I took store bought dressed up. Selfish huh, but I'm learning to be selfish if it is the best option for me to reach my goals. I started my morning with a cup of coffee, some nuts, later I enjoyed a nice kale salad that was HCG friendly (kale, cucumber, green onions, apples, strawberries tossed in vinegar and lemon juice.  And then came the harder part, as the potluck items rolled in I had to fight urges so I opted for these bad but extremely small portions to satisfy my taste buds. I had a slider size burger wrapped in lettuce with a tomato slice with a squirt of mustard, A teaspoon of the dressed up potato salad, 1/3rd of a ear of corn,  1/3 of a hot link, more nuts, cantaloupe, and one potato chip off my cousins plate.... lol (I love potato chips). I drank plenty of water and Iaso Detox Tea. I finished the night with a shot glass of merlot.

I re-started tracking my calories to help me gauge my calorie limits. Was it approved food? No. But you will always be around food and have to find a way to enjoy the festivities without going over board. I woke up this morning the the scale down 2lbs more. With the holiday behind me I can continue my journey and enjoy success, 21 days to go, 8lbs under my feet.

Fast Food and HCG

Good Morning,

So I have completed day 6 of 30, down 6lbs. I feel pretty good today, yesterday I was a little dizzy and tired, but I also hadn't ate much protein. I stopped eating meat in February, not to become vegetarian but to reduce my consumption of animal products. But when I do crave meat I seek to eat cleaner meals. Yesterday after work I was so tired and burnt out on fish and cabbage, and didn't want to cook I opted for some fast food.

About 160 calories for a single patty from In-n-Out on lettuce leaves with grilled onions and slice tomato. I still stayed within my calorie count of 500 with HCG, maybe the fat content was high but I still loss one pound and felt satisfied and got some clean fast-food and my energy level is much better today.

HCG Phase 2 Day 1

Greetings....

So I have made into Phase 2 of the HCG Diet which is the harder phase to endure. It's the phase in which you break the old habits and build some discipline... I must say I didn't do to bad for day 1, as I write this I just finished my dinner for day 2, about 24 days left and I believe I can do this. So my meals for yesterday and the next few days are 2 egg whites, cantaloupe, an apple, sliced cucumbers, baked fish, cabbage, and melba toast(2). I'm not hungry, actually I have to remember to eat. Although I did find out I was taking to many drops at once so I took a break for a day to let my body catch up with the dosage. Needless to say I weighed in this am, lost 2lbs. from yesterday. Still drinking my tea, and ready for change.

HCG Phase 1

So I am on the last day of three of HCG Phase 1. I weighed in this morning and I have gained 2 lbs. Yes, but it's totally normal being that in HCG Phase 1 you are to eat a high fat and high calorie diet:

"Phase 1: This stage consists of 3 days, in which you should weigh yourself every morning, after going to
the bathroom and keep a record (write it down) every morning. Take 10 drops of HCG Life Drops, 30
minutes before any main food (breakfast, lunch, dinner). Hold the 10 drops under your tongue for 5
minutes; this increases the absorption of the drops by the body. Do not drink or eat anything 15 minutes
before or after taking the drops. Do this every day with the drops during your Phase 1. In this stage, the
drops will help identify where in your body, the abnormal fats are stored. So in this 1st Phase, eat all
foods that are high in fats and high in calories. ENJOY these 3 days, nothing is out of limits."

Tomorrow I begin Phase 2 which is when your body begins to convert stored fat and the very strict low calorie diet. I'm ready!

What is HCG?

HCG is a natural hormone, quickly absorbed, that activates the Hypothalamus to release
and mobilize the abnormal fats (extra) that is found in your body and uses this as a source
of energy or a source of food. So, when you are on a very low calorie diet, HCG Life Drops
helps your body compensate the difference in calories that it needs to function through the
use of stored fat making it a source of food for your body. Thus resulting in a rapid weight
loss. Through the use of the HCG Life Drops and Dr. Simeons protocol, this will help you
obtain your “ideal correct body weight.”

Three (3) main benefits in liberating the abnormal fats:
• The stored fat helps sustain your bodies daily calorie needs.
• The fat will be burned in the areas that are most difficult to lose.
The homeopathic formula of the HCG Life Drops is taken orally, under the
tongue, preventing a negative impact on the normal muscular tissue or muscles.
• You will lose weight (1-2 pounds a day).

Ready For Change

I am so ready for change. I have been visualizing some major changes in my life in many different areas but most importantly I need a change in my health and my body. I am 42 years young and find it challenging to lose weight that was once easy to take off. Realizing that my health is my most valuable asset I have made up in my mind that I am ready for change. I know it won't come easy but I am ready to fight and do whatever it takes to change my health. I am ready for change.
